Westhill High School Mission Statement
Westhill High School values learning because it promotes academic excellence, civic responsibility and personal growth. Our community provides all students with opportunities to acquire, analyze, and apply knowledge.
Expectations for Student Learning
Students will express themselves in coherent written forms using applicable technology. Students will use Standard English, edit and revise, and consider audience and purpose.
Students will read critically and competently across the media for a broad acquisition of knowledge and will experience a variety of texts.
Students will understand and utilize multiple forms of communication.
Students will gather, analyze, and use information effectively when problem-solving.
Students will participate in curricular, extra-curricular, and/or community activities to develop civic responsibility and personal growth.
