Winners are selected based on the manner in which candidates have overcome the obstacles created by their disability; the degree to which the candidates have contributed to their school and community through service; the candidates promise for a successful career. One hundred seventy $6000 scholarships will be awarded (renewable) to selected students who have applied, been aceepted, and choose to attend one of the eight NCCE Partner Colleges and Universitities, all of which have strong co-op programs.
