Rules of Conduct
Classroom Rules: Room 113
- RESPECT ME AND YOUR CLASSMATES AND I WILL RESPECT YOU
- Be nice and considerate to your classmates.
- Respect yourself and I will always protect your dignity and privacy.
- Turn off your cell phones and MP3 players and listening attentively.
Show your respect for me and others who are speaking by being quiet and paying attention. No fooling around or you will leave the classroom.
- The Science Department Rule is No Eating or Drinking in the Classroom
YOU MUST NOT LEAVE TRASH IN MY CLASSROOM.
This classroom is my WHS home and it’s also a lab
- Never touch or take anything that doesn’t belong to you.
Remember the golden rule: do onto others.
- Don’t be tardy. If you’re often late to class I will take is as a sign of disrespect.
6. Cheating: Cheating with not be tolerated. A warning will be given once and any further violations will result in a zero.
Progressive Consequences of Failure to Meet Classroom Rules
- You have a warning for a first infraction, but only one.
- The next infraction results in a detention, one afternoon.
- Then, multiple detentions and a call home, depending on the infraction.
Rewards of Good Conduct
- Good conduct brings a forbearance “card” that might be used as a pass on a late assignment or for other choices
- Good conduct is its own reward; you need to be prepared for life in the greater society.
- My respect is worth something to you; we all need a little help or the benefit of the doubt sometimes.
