The Center for Global Studies is an Inter-District Magnet High School for International Studies, specializing in Arabic, Chinese and Japanese Languages. It is located at Brien McMahon High School, 300 Highland Avenue, Norwalk. Evening Open Houses as well as Daytime Information Sessions are offerred.

The Traveling School for Girls

This program is like no other--designed especially for girls 15-18, students earn full academic credit for seven semester courses in math, history, science, language arts, foreign language, PE, and Global Studies.

This 15-week program travels to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia during the Southern Africa Semester; the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia for the South America Semester; Nepal and Thailand during the Southeast Asia Semester; and the North and South Islands of New Zealand during the New Zealand Semester.  In addition to demanding academics and overseas discovery, The Traveling School is dedicated to the development of solid outdoor skills.
