2026 Concert Band and Percussion “Summer Work”

Participation in Westhill’s Competitive Travel Marching Band is REQUIRED for all students who are registered for the HONORS Concert Band Class

Camp is not required for students registered for CP Full Year Band, Percussion, or Half Year CP Band.

Band Camp runs from August 10th - 21st from 8am-7pm and is a graded assignment for all students in the HONORS Concert class.

2026 AP English Literature and Composition
- For this year’s summer reading assignment, please read and enjoy The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. When you return from summer vacation, you will be expected to analyze, discuss, and write about the novel. It is strongly recommended that you take notes on important details as you read. Choose a fiction or nonfiction book that interests you and that challenges you. The possibilities are nearly endless. Our purpose is to encourage you to find an enjoyable summer read.
