At Westhill High School, one of our primary goals is to ensure all of our students are on track to achieve a high school diploma and college, career, and life success. To that end, Westhill and Stamford Public Schools are excited to join the Connecticut RISE Network to help all students realize and achieve their full potential. RISE represents a partnership between Connecticut public high schools and districts committed to strengthening the middle to high school transition and post-secondary outcomes.
The RISE Network was co-founded by Connecticut teachers, counselors, and administrators collaborating to ensure all students succeed in and beyond high school. As a community of educators, RISE partners use data to pinpoint needs and pursue ideas to advance student engagement and achievement. Through the RISE Network, Westhill’s students and educators will benefit from a variety of new opportunities and resources, including freshman summer bridge programs, On-Track Coordinator coaching and supports for freshmen, on-track student conferences, college and career planning supports, user-friendly and secure data tools, educator professional learning opportunities, and the RISE Educator Innovation Fund. Through our partnership with the RISE Network, we look forward to helping all students thrive in high school and beyond.
