WHAT? The 2026 Senior Internship Experience

WHEN? Senior Internship Experience (SIE) will take place from 5/18 – 6/5/26

HOW? The SIE application will be available by clicking the link HERE - 2026 SENIOR INTERNSHIP APPLICATION from 10/1/25 to 1/5/26.

WHERE? View available internship job descriptions online starting 1/12/26 for a 2-week viewing period. The selection and interview process will begin on 1/26/26. Google Classroom Details to follow.

OR? You can ‘SELF-DESIGN’ an internship with approval from the SIE staff. Company/supervisor contact information is due by 2/9/26.

WHY? The purpose of SIE is for seniors in good standing to participate in career-connected learning. It’s a chance to learn more about a career field or explore an area of interest. It’s a chance to prepare you for the next stage of life, either academic or professional, by giving you a taste of life outside of school.

WHO? Seniors must meet the following prerequisites to participate:

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
Must meet grade, attendance, and behavior requirements for senior year
Must not have failed or be in danger of failing any senior year course (this includes Physical Education)
Must be meeting all graduation requirements
Must complete mandatory workplace safety education
Must complete the Senior Graduation Survey
SIE participation subject to review and approval from parent/guardian, school counselor, principal, and SIE Coordinator
